after so long, i'm back home on a saturday night again. many thoughts and emotions rushing through my mind. something went wrong btw us, and I thought he doesnt care about me like how he used to. wanted to spend time with him, but ended up having my plans screwed up. I cannot, and will not, deny that I am feeling upset about it. but what's most upsetting is that he did not ask if i wan him not to go for his activity, and perhaps it never crosses his mind that "baby might need me during this stressful period..." eventually i did not tell him that i did not want him to go and that I want him to stay to keep me company. will he stay with me if i have asked him to do so? I very much want to believe that the answer would be a forefront straight yes. i told him how i feel, and he said that I am still the person whom he cares most about. Tears of happiness and sorrow welled up. At least he said that I still matter to him, and I am willing to believe that. However, this adds on to the accumulating misses I have for him. I am very tired, both mentally and physically, right now. All i can do at this moment is to bring these misses with me into my dreamland, so that heaven will be kind to me and allow me to relish moments of us together in my dreams, since in reality, we are apart.

i very much wanted to celebrate v day on 14th, but thanks to my assignment, i couldnt do so. thought i will be able to celebrate it during this weekend, but seems like it's got to be postponed again...

after years of receiving gifts and flowers,

for the first time, I yearn for something...

but ended up not getting any.

2010 is drawing to an end. its been a fruitful year for me, and i'm very thankful for what's come my way during this period (:

firstly, i met choz, and fell in love with this mr nice guy who dotes on me like crazy (: hahaa..baby, on this v last day of 2010, which also happens to be our 5th mth anniversary, i'll like to say a very big thank you to you for always bringing me laughter and joy! i wanna apologize for throwing my temper once during bali, and u're soo patient with me! lets continue to support each other as time goes by, and once again, happy mthsary!:P

after several weeks of postponing, i finally got to cycle last weekend!(: hahaa..we have been talking about going cycling at ecp since one month ago, but the plan was being pushed back several times due to our procrastination and bad weather:X we had a jolly good 2 hrs non-stop ride to and fro from ecp to changi, and i felt soooo healthy and shiok after the cycling! it made me feel that i slim down after that, and how i wish i could go and cycle every weekend!!! tat will be awesome ttm! :P heehee..but baby confirm will scream at me if i request if we do such sports every week!!:X right choz??

and long john silver breakfast is freaking good! (: i bought baby the texas chicken meal for breakfast last sat since he have been sayin he wanna eat LJS breakfast since dunno when (but he oversleeps everytime, so by the time he wakes up, its past 11am). i took a bite...it was sinful indeed, but e fats gained was worth it!! hahaa..it was still hot at e time i ate it, and i jus love the thick bread and e filling! hahaa.. now i know why my cousin love it sooo much!! heehee..craving for it right now..

and yeaps, i am also craving for my tau huay, e egg tart, and e beancurd tart!!!omg..now i know where my extra kilos come from..but well, i just cant resist good food like this. not forgetting my prata! i really cant remember when was e last time i had a good prata meal with a cup of teh tarik! hehee..if it was e past me 1 year ago, i think i would have killed myself if i eat that. its not that i am not particular about my weight and body figure now, just that i'm not that extreme anymore... come to think of it,i am pretty amazed by how i crashed weight 1 year ago! it wasnt good for my health, as i suffered from secondary amenorrhoea (which means sudden stop of menses) for a period of time. but luckily, my health has recovered, and i must thank baby for that. he encouraged me to eat more, and indeed feed me more ( we are not tgt at that point of time yet... ) now that we are tgt, he still feeds me well, and insists that i eat more! hahaa..he said he wants me to grow bigger! haaa..my weight indeed increases during the past 2 months, but i want to maintain my current weight!:P so baby, too bad, i'm not going to grow bigger in size anymore!

i have to admit that the past few days have not been pleasant for both of us. it was the first time we felt emotionally distraught ever since we got together. I know that there is no such thing called "happily ever after" in a relationship. ups and downs is then reality. we did not quarrel, neither did we have cold war. we were just feeling kinda stressed up from work and studies, so our moods were not good to begin with in the first place. nonetheless, we talked things through peacefully, and i like how both of us try to resolve the issues together.

i believe that everything in life has its high and low period, what more a relationship? this hiccup has taught me to show more understanding towards my partner, and also learn to be more sensitive to each other emotional needs. it's never easy since each of us has our own perspective towards certain matters, but his compromising action reassured me that we are able to work things out eventually. i like him because his character resembles mine to a large extent. we do not like heated arguments, as that will only strain the relationship further. moreover, we do not like to leave things hanging, as we believe that dragging will only make matters worse. more importantly, from this experience, i see that he is different from some other guy, he is willing to admit his wrongs, even though it's no one's fault. not many guy will do this, since they have their pride to protect. but he put down his pride, and apologized for making me feeling low during the past few days. at that moment, i knew i did not make the wrong choice to be together with him.

i cannot guarantee that our relationship will be smooth-sailing in the future, but i am certain that should both of us remain frank with each other, and learn to understand each other better, we will be able to brace through the difficulties, and emerge stronger and closer than before. hahaa, but this does not imply that i want more hiccups! some things are unpredictable and unavoidable; it comes and we have to face it. but we can change how things will turn out eventually. it all depends on how you deal with it. manage it well, and positive growth is still possible amidst difficulties

baby, i know you have not been feeling good recently due to your increased workload and lack of rest. i really appreciate your efforts in trying to shoo away the dark clouds, and bring back the sun (: dun worry, i am sure we will see the rainbow after the rain soon. i just wanna let you know, no matter what happen, let's stay together. if you smile, i will smile with you, and should either of us cry, let's tear together, and have a good hearty laugh after that!(:

past few weeks have been packed with so many activities! hahaa..went so many places, and did so many stuff during e past weekends, so much so that i cant really recall what i did specifically for each week. i shall try, but i cant guarantee, esp when my brain is now loaded with e materials for tml's mid-term test!

alrite, let's start! (: two weeks ago, we went flyer since baby's got free tickets from his BIG WALK! haha..it's our first time on the flyer, and the view was spectacular at night! luckily we din go during the day, otherwise we will not have gotten the chance to catch the beautiful Singapore central district with the well-lighted F1 track, and MBS! baby's soo sweet, he bought me Royce choco knowing that i love choco!:P and we had poppeyes after our ride! hahaa..i'm so in love with their mashed potata, it's freaking good (: met up with cousins to eat rochor beancurd after then..another fav food of mine...its not surprising that i'm growin fat! robin drove us all to marina barrage after that, and it's my first time there... saw many ppl flying kites, and din stay long. robin sent us back after that, and i swore that he's really a reckless driver, jus like his dad! LOLX!

moving on to last week, baby's so random, he gave me a surprise durin the mid-autumn festival nite jus becox i posted on fb that i wanted to play with lantern and candles!:X hahaa.. i still remembered i was studyin at home, and suddenly he called me, saying that " a train jus passed by rite?". hahaa..before i knew it, he was standing at my doorstep, and i was really SOOOOOO glad and surprised to see baby (: it was nearly midnite, but there he was with his barang barang containing lanterns, candles and some mooncakes. sooooo nice of him to come to pioneer all e way from telok blangah just to celebrate mooncake festival with me!! we went downstairs to light e lantern, and i suggested walking around e estate with e lantern!! muhahaha...so poor baby had no choice but to take a lantern and walk with me ard e block..but then, it was a memorable mooncake festival for me:P hopefully for baby too! heeehee...

went to catch F1 on friday!(: baby bought e tics, and it was our first time seeing F1 race live! haaa..it was not bad, and trust me, the sound of the F1 cars racing past could really vibrate ur ear drums! thank goodness some kind caucasians offered us their ear plucks, otherwise it's really a torture for our poor ears! and one thing, baby sucked at taking fast shots, he's always too faast!!:P anyway, though we watched the race, both of us felt that the 38 bucks was worth it mainly due to catching the live performance of Missy Elliot! :P we were so close to the stage, and e view was awesome! :P it was really a great night, and we sweated like crazy during the 1-hr non-stop music and dance! haahaa! but the bad thing was, we were so famished and drop dead tired after 6 hrs of non-stop standing :X

another week has passed! hmm..weekdays as usual, go sch for lects, head home aft that, and revise my work:X haha..gettin used to the routine with more sch days to come! but thanks to baby, i managed to catch the Badminton matches for YOG on Tues night with baby and his collegue since he had free ticx!:X that's e good thing abt working in gov sector, u get loads of freebies!:P woohoo...my first YOG game, and the matches were not too bad afterall! :D but it's a pity that our player didnt fare well...

HAHAA!! spent an awesome saturday with baby!! went grand cathay to catch STEP-UP in e aftnoon, and baby drove up Mount Faber at night. hahaa... chilled at Henderson's wave till 1am this morning, before baby sent me home! heee...both of us were dead tired aft yest..cox it's alr afternoon when we woke up today! still feeling abit tired, so plan to rest early tonite cox i have a SUPER long day tml.. YES, the most dreadful day of the week since my day starts at 10am, and ends at 7pm!:X cant wait for tml to be over....

oh ya..prepared a small gift for baby, and it's a calendar photo frame with ours pics! haha...initially wanted to give him a surprise, but my surprise kinda failed, all thanks to the toilet washing!:X nvr mind..long story, and i shall not elaborate it. but i'm glad that baby likes it, and he places it in his room! :) weeeeweeee...

BACK TO SCHOOL!!! hahaa.. after 3 long months of holiday, i officially stepped feet at NUS campus again on thursday! supposed to have 5 lectures, but attended only 2 since 3 of them were on Monday, and last Monday happened to be National Day!:P Muhahaa... so school' still rather slack at this moment...BUT tml's gonna be a long day for me... hehe...i hope i will not have monday blues this semester:P *cross my fingers*

Attended SeeHwee's 21st bday celebration yesterday, and had fun with the lovely babes!:P not forgetting my baby who went with me!(: It really makes me feel heartened to see him get along well with my friends, and able to engage them with ease! i feel so happy to bring him along with me to my friends' gatherings and stuff... he has really become a part of me and my life!

hmm..was troubled by some stuff earlier on, but baby managed to cheer me up! i just hope the person will understand that some things cannot be forced, especially when it comes to love matters. I really hope the person can give us his blessings, and get on with his life as soon as possible. I wish him happiness, and may he find his destined one in the near future!(:

and to my baby... I'm really glad that you maintain an open mindset when i told you my troubles, and has faith and trust in our relationship. Though we just got together not long ago, but the feeling that we have been through thick and thin lingers. I know that you are worried if some people might wreck havoc to our relationship, but baby... went Johor with sis, cuzzies and our two bfs last saturday!(: its our first overseas trip, and thou it was just a one-day trip, we had so much fun EATING and SINGING! haha..basically all our mouths were pretty busy that day since they never really stopped moving once we reached Johor! haaa.. was really glad that baby could mingle with my cousins and sis, and they treated him like he was part of our big family!!(: btw, that was me and baby's 2nd overseas trip tgt within a week! wahahaa..

it was a public holiday yesterday, so asked for a date with my baby! heehee..so thick-skinned of me rite?:P anyway, met up with baby early in e morning to have his long awaited BIG BREAKFAST at MaCdonald before going on some strenous exercise! haha.we took up the challenge of going on a hike at Mount Faber! Wooohoooo...it was really a good workout, and baby sweated like no one's business! hahaa... we will concur the whole 9km trail soon!

After which, we headed back to Vivo for a drink, and treated baby to his favourite oyster mee suan!(: haha..saw his mum for the first time yesterday, and oh gosh, i was super nervous! gee..but his mummy was very nice, and keeps smiling at me..so at least this helped to calm my nerves! heehee.. Baby bought a blackberry, which will be his temporary phone before he gets his iphone 4!:P

had a change of plan and went to watch SOng of the Sea at Sentosa at night instead. hahaa..it was our first time catching the show, and it was still alright :P just that the whole place was flooded with tourists! haaaa.. went back Vivo, and home sweet home after that! heehee.. though it was a long day, but time always seem to fly when i'm with him..

wooohoo! i'm back from bintan (: this trip is a memorable one as there are many first time experiences for me, and more importantly, i got together with chee cho!(: yes, we are an item now, and the trip was kinda of a honeymoon for us! hahaa..that's what the indonesians people said to us when we're travelling around in Bintan..

though it was a short getaway, but it was really a good holiday break for both of us. We spent the 3D2N fruitfully, ranging from sea sports such as jetski, kayaking, to suntanning, travelling around their town, did massage in a couple suite, watching sunrise early in the morning, land sports such as laser quest, archery and table tennis! we also had our relaxing time in the hotel room, watching tv and listening to class 95fm!!(: I was so delighted when i knew that they had class 95fm!! hahaa.. that's our fav radio station at nite as there are many good love songs aft 12 midnite :)

thank you baby for the wonderful moments spent in bintan!(: It was really nice to have you with me, and all your sweet little gestures really made me feel i'm really xin fu (: from ur little surprise pictures, to the wordings on the mirror, to the heart ya drew on the beach, and not forgetting your dedication of casablanca to me in the restaurant... every little thing you do makes me fall deeper for you. your presence made me feel secured, and your encouragement gave me the reassurance that i need in order to gain so many first-time experiences!

YES!!! the short getaway to Bintan is confirmed!!(: woooohooo...i'm finally getting out of Spore! haha..cant contain my excitement..i'm sure it's gonna be one hell loads of fun! gee... though it's a 3D2N trip to a nearby country, but i'm contented (: BINTAN, here i'm comin!!!

has been out for the past few days to do some hunting for the tour packages..i do need to admit it's not easy, and luckily i have a friend for company, thanks load piggy!(: haha.. been to city hall and suntec city many times this week till i lost count of it! chinatown as well since e tour agencies are mostly located in that district...

decided to rest at home today, was super duper tired last nite till i fell asleep on the comp table! haha..dunno why i was so tired?? hmmm..anyway, went for e checkup alr, and thankfully the report showed everything is good. so i guess i need to eat normally, and everything will be back to normal... learnt my lesson that losing drastic weight within a short period of time can shock my body. rem gals, looking good is one thing, but not at the expense of ur own body (=

i think i'm suffering from "end of work" symptoms.. rotting at home is really not my cup of tea indeed. somehow i feel that i'm like wastin time, and not doing anything productive! haha... humans are never easy to be satisfied. When we're tied down with work, we complain we wan to rest, now that there's a chance to rest, we complain we're bored! hahaa...maybe it's just me who has this experience:X but well..still, i shall enjoy my remaining vacation! hee..

speakin of which, I'm most likely going on a short getaway to a nearby country next week!! woohooo!!((: like FINALLY i got to get out of the country, been stuck on this small island for god know how many years already! alrite..think i kinda suan gu.. i finally get to fulfill my wish of gettin onto an airplane at e age of 21!! LOL BIG TIMES... but come to think of it, at least late's still better than never :P shall haf more of this when i get older, it will be ubber cool to travel around the world and see many new stuff! besides, i'm stilll young (:

caught inception last weekend... was captivated by the plot! (: dreams within dreams, totally cool! hahaa... dreams are never real, is this true? according to psychologists, dreams are actually fragments of our memories during the day, and dreams come about as our brains are consolidating those memory pieces. hmm..maybe that's why chinese has the saying: ri you suo si, ye you suo meng, so i dun think it's really accurate to say that dreams are never real, esp when u experience the feeling of deja vu whereby dreams become reality! :X

so can anyone care to answer me, am i in a dream or living in reality? i hope i'm in reality.. that's becox only when i'm in reality then it dawns on me how fortunate i am to be surrounded by my loved ones and the need for me to treasure what i have now...before they disappear, and what's left are only dreams that can never be real anymore.

i haven been blogging for the past 5 months.. suddenly feel like writing something, so here i am. life's pretty normal for me during this period, currently havin my 3 mths vacation, and just ended work at Ministry of Manpower last friday. My 3rd government job! hahaa.. seems like i'm heading towards the govnt sector for my occupational prospects!

met some cool friends when i was working at MOM! though e job was kinda mundane, nonetheless, e company from my teammates was what kept me motivated to go to work:X lol! hahaa.. esp on weekend, just the thot of working from 8.30am till 5pm on a sat can be so devastatin and demoralizin! well.. since work has ended for me, i still have abt 3 more weeks before sch's startin! haha.. BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN! 3 months' gonna be over in a blink of an eye..really hope to go on a short trip to some neighbourin countries before sch's start!

okie..something random.. fate's really a magical thing. what's meant to be urs will eventually be urs.. but if it's not meant to, it's pointless to hold onto sth which will still leave u in the end. 1 year has passed since we broke up. we still keep in contact, and i'm glad that he is doing well in his career and relationship. was sorting thru some photos just now, and came across those photos which we took during our 3.5 years of relationship. i noe i shldnt feel this way, but somehow my heart still twitched when i was looking thru. i guess i'm e more sentimental type... memory is a way of holding onto the things you once loved and treasured so deeply... very true indeed.

many ppl are asking me, why dun u enter another relationship? hmmm... to me, i feel that i shld let nature takes its course.. e more u wan it, the farther it will drift away. i have always believed that things come when u least expect it... hahaa! i am still young.. and i have time, i rather choose a flower from the florist, then to pluck wild flowers along the road... if you get what i mean :P

i'm finally 21!(: no longer a teenager anymore. a new phase of life, which also means greater challenges and responsibilities. but lookin at e positive side, it means i have more freedom to pursue what i want in life. there are many things which i wan to do, for instance, overseas voluntary work! haha.. really hope that i can get the chance to fulfill my dreams :D

back to my 21st birthday, it was a HUGE SUCCESS!! really wan to thank my family, relatives and friends who showed up, and celebrated this important day with me (: first time holding a party, din noe it was so tiring, but everything was worthwhile. got some feedback from my friends, and was really happy to know that they had enjoyed themselves. e venue was good too! haha.. 27th feb 2010 will def be a memorable day which i will nvr forget!:P

sem's already 3/4 through.. busy with assignments and projects now. din really have the time to chill and slack for awhile. when i'm done with those stuff, it means its time for final exams. so i guess i can REALLY only slack when final exams are over! haa.. shall bear for awhile more (:

and the weather's seriously driving me nuts!! the heat's sooooo unbearable that it makes me kinda hate going out at times. rain rain please come more often.. march's already so hot, can't imagine what the weather will be like during june! maybe i should consider heading to australia during that period :X haha.if only i can!

GOSH, just realised that I have not been updating my blog for quite sometime! several events have taken place, e.g. CNY 2010, Chingay 2010, and yet i have not been blogging :X haha..I was tied down with so many things that I did not have the time to blog all these happenings.

haha.. just to keep it sweet, simple and short, I HAD A SUPER AWESOME TIME for the past few weeks! though i was busy, but i liked the busyness and fun that came with it!:P meet-ups with cousins ( has been delayed since xmas'09), my sec sch clique, and not forgetting ang baos collecting during CNY period! woohoo.. took some days of rest, and it was followed by 2 consecutive hectic days of CHINGAY parade! I have only one word to describe the whole Chingay journet : SUPERB!! ((= enjoyed myself to the max throughout the process, and even though there were some minor problems that popped out halfway, the logistics team still did a wonderful job in contributing to the success of the whole event! :D took away many priceless rewards from the participation in Chingay 2010, ranging from the many learning experiences gained, bunch of fun-loving friends made, and spectacular live performances seen. What else can i still demand?? :P

and not forgetting, it's one more day to my 21st birthday party!! haha..yes, i'm going to turn 21 officially,and am no longer a teenager, but a young adult. I"M STILL YOUNG alright :P hmm.. i'm experiencing a mixed of emotions with regards to this sat party. nervous yet excited??? really hope that everything will turn out well, and my family and friends will have a great time! haha.. shall update more when the party's over!

2nd week of sch's passed in a blink of an eye! catchin up with my readins and revision as usual.. life's pretty much e same for me. but luckily, there's michelle's 21st birthday bash this week to heighten up my dull borin sch week! (: haha.. my first attended 21st bday party this year,and i wonder who's next??? maybe it's mine! yeaps, i'm gettin my key soon!!! excited yet dreadin it thou.. 21 yrs old, which means i'm finally an adult legally, and this comes with it greater responsibility and an older age :( but i'm excited cox i'm goin to haf my first bday party ! woohooo!! gotta do some plannin, and my sis is helpin me with it..haha...with e food and deco hopefully ((: hope that my friends and relatives can turn up, and haf a good time! shall update and start invitin ppl when e date draws near! haha.. about a more mth to go :X

anyway, back to mich's bday! haha..she looked super gorgeous, just like a princess :D took photos as usual, and it was really nice to meet up with her after such a long time! not forgettin my yuan yuan, whom i haven seen for mths!! haha..we talked about our lives, and i'm glad that she is finally leavin that place in 2 more mths' time! it's been really hard for her, and persevere gal, it's gonna be over!! went for Chingay 2nd training on service-based and scenario learnin this mornin at BVSS! haha..guess where it is locateD.. TANAH MERAH! haha..and i got to there early in e mornin by 8 am! all e way from west to east..could have died from the long travellin journey! met Ros at tanah merah control, and we were assigned our first duty of the day the moment we stepped out from the gantry. we were supposed to stand at the MRT area and hold some paper indicating the direction to BVSS, and it was not an easy job indeed! everyone stared at one as if u were some weird fellow, and those volunteers still got e cheek to laugh at us! hello, we were making sure that u dun lose ur way, and u guys still made fun!:X well..sec sch KIDS, so cant expect much from their level of maturity...

today's itinerary was more focused on talks and stuff, so it wasnt as hectic as last week's one. nonetheless, i preferred last week's session as e logs team had more stuff to do, rather than sittin down in the hall for hrs like today :( butt hurt, and i would rather move around under the sun! heehee..think i'm crazy! ended quite early today..and headed home! super tired even thou I didnt do much. boredom breeds lethargic in my case! hahaa...

next week no trainin, so at least we dun haf to wake up super early on a saturday mornin, and can haf a break!(: maybe i should get my new year stuff next week! haha..haven shopped for clothings yet, and had no idea what to buy! :( i think i am goin to take my own sweet time again..typical of me when it comes to shoppin! haa..i'm not like those crazy gals who enjoy shoppin! or maybe it's me who is eccentric, since gals should actually enjoy shoppin, which unfortunately do not happen to me :( muhahaa! hmm..i shall just keep tellin myself new year is abt 3 more weeks away, perhaps this can help to induce some sense of urgency in me!

the first week of sch has ended officially! hmm..not too bad this week, just that there are so many textbooks to buy and stuff!:X really goin to cost a big bomb, so i guess i'm taking another alternative, which is to photocopy e relevant chapters (: haha..this will really help me cut cost!

and okie, perhaps e worse thing of e week was to misplace my ez-link card yest in sch :( walked e whole sch to look for it, but to no avail. called e transitlink office to cancel e card, and guess what, just received an email from e sch lib informin me that e card is found! arghhhh... which means i'm goin to haf to spend $18 bucks to do a card replacement, what a waste! feel like killing myself for my carelessness and impulsitivity to cancel e card :(

oh ya, not forgettin losing my voice :( but thankfully, it's on its way to recovery (: cant wait to haf my sweet voice back, and bye bye sexy voice!

started my revisin of mods this week already. haha..my friends said that i'm crazy! haha..but well, i'm gonna stick to my promise, which is to practise prompt revision (: dun wan to do last min revision..it sucks!

and yes, a super packed day for me tml! it's e first CHINGAY training session for all e usherers and motivators, and i'm supposed to facilitate one of the game station! haha..gonna reach bishan by 8.30 am tml!!! omg... another 8 o'clock day for me again this week!!! whole thing will end ard evenin, and since i'm in e logs team, so gonna do some packin up. guess everything will end ard 6 plus (: *cross my fingers* but never mind, i think it's gonna be a hell loads of fun, and i'm sure lookin forward to it! gone's 2009, and here's 2010! woohoo..a brand new year ahead, and i hope that everyone will haf a GOOD and BLESSFUL year :D 2009 had been a year of ups and downs, sorrows and happiness, as well as loss and gains for me. i cannot that that everything went well for me, but it wasnt really that bad either :P so i guess i could say that it was an average year for me afterall (:

this week's been packed with loads of meet-ups with my friends, and thou it's tirin, i felt that everything was worthwhile (: met up with my uni guys, swcdc pplz, and my sec sch buddies! haha.. i cant imagine how my life would be without friends. each and everyone of you means alot to rouisanna :D

when i used to be attached, i felt that i haf somehow neglected my circle of friends, but now that i am single, then it dawned upon me that i was quite blinded by love back then. but i'm really thankful that i'm still blessed with one whole loads of awesome friends! (:

HEYS!(: haha...so sorry ppl, exams're finally done last fri, but i was just too lazy to blog during this whole week:X i was busy watchin online dramas at home...haha, and yes, that's how i have been killing my time for the whole week. did went for job hunting, but still waitin for replies. but i doubt there will be any chance since my vacation's only for a mth, and most jobs require at least 3 mths of commitment, so well, if really cant get a job, i guess it's too bad for them then! haha..they miss out someone great!!! muhahaha...cant believe i actually said this! lol :X

stepped out of hse yest and went out with mum and sis for some food tasting at zhou's since we had some vouchers left. food still tasted great (: haha...and shit, i felt so sinful aft eatin since i think im goin to gain some weight back from e eating :(

YES YES! another more week to pass and it will soon be over! haha.. had two papers this week, and they were still okie, hopefully i can secure the grades i wan! pray hard e bell curves will do me some justice :) and so i'm left with another two to go before i say BYE BYE to my first sem of year 2!

and my dear friends, please date me out aft exams kies! haha..i'm plannin my dec schedule, and might be thinkin of gettin a part-time job. wan earn some bucks rather than rot myself at home :P haha.. at last, one mth of "no books" period for me! really gettin quite sick of my daily routine, wakin up ard 9 plus, and start revisin all e way till nite :X haha..dun worry, i take breaks in btw!!(: watch some movies online :)

and this reminded me, 2012 's superb!! caught it online, and it's really a good show! some touchin scenes here and there, and a thumbs up overall :) caught some other movies like zombieland ( kinda crappy), 500 days of summer, children of men, etc... these movies are my motivators alrite, w/o them, i think i will die from those notes and books :X

did some clearin just now..threw away quite alot of notes and books:) haha..when it comes to packin, i'm not e kind who keeps stuff, i will just throw! i dun really care if it will come in handy in e future :X haha..it really makes e job SO MUCH easier.. unlike my mum and sis who will keep this keep that. i see no point in keepin stuff if e objective is to CLEAR stuff! and trust me, throwin away stuff is really SHIOK!!(:

alrite, the big days are finally comin, with my first paper startin from tml, and last paper ending on 4th dec! these two weeks gonna be long for me.. hopefully time will fly durin this period as i really cant wait for my exams to be over!

had a great fri and sat last week (: as mentioned earlier, went to zhou's kitchen @ far east square to celebrate mum's bday on fri, and we had an enjoyable hi-tea ala carte buffet! e food's super good! trust me! every dish tasted sooo niCE (: glad that mummy liked e food.. haha..we will be back there soon again! just cant resist nice food! :D u guys gonna try it too!!

and met up with my cousins last sat!(: aft abt three mths plus since our last meet-up! hmm..went to kk hosp to visit my twin baby cousins, and really great to know that they are getting better each and everyday!:D haha...cheyenne was still sayin, " when they are twenty years old, we will already be 40!!!" our reactions weere like "SHIT! we will be so damn old!" haha..dun even wan to imagine how we will be like 20 yrs down e road... went to ah jing's bday celebration after that. it was quite last min, and we din get any gift for him. felt quite bad and so awkward, so we din stay long. went to xinwang at white sand to chill out! our original plan was to go marina square outlet for dinner, but due to e impromptu bday thinggy, din manage to. so we were so happy to realise that pasir ris has one outlet! (: i had my nice almond paste with peanut tang yuan!(: yummmy!! xinwang's another eatin place that i like to frequent! good food at reasonable price :D all of us were quite lethargic , and decided to cab homE! hhaa...e thot of takin mrt from pasir ris back home freaked us out, esp for my cousin robin and gf jennifer who stay at hougang!

HELLOoooo pplz!(: haha..sorry for the lack of update for the past few weeks, cox ms rosie has been busy chionging her proj and assignments! haha.but to sad to say, she has two more individual essays to clear, so well, all e best to her! quickly settle her essays so that she can start revising for her final exams!!

anyway, despite her busy schedule, she will not forget her friends!(: haha..met up with my sec sch clique last fri for a karaoke session! had hell loads of fun singing with them, and i sweared the guys were screamin into e mike most of the time, rather than singin! muhahaa!! esp wang han yu and li ju, their rendition of akon's lonely was super duper funny! laughed till i couldnt breathe! hope to meet up with them and the remainin as freqeuntly as possible! :D

BRAIN DEAD!! past few days were really brain-draining, and I really wonder how i survive??? but anyway, cleared my mid-term exams for abnormal and cognitive psy FINALLY! down with one essay! haha..but MORE to come still!! nvr mind, shall give myself a short break today, as my brain really cannot function anymore :(

this week has been a crazy and stressful one for me. With preparation for 2 mid-terms next week, essays to complete and projects to rush, I really need alot of motivation and mental strength for the remaining of the semester as i foresee greater workload, and inevitably, pressure from more deadlines and exams. I will do my best, and not let myself be overcome and defeated by STRESS!! haha... give me a break, i need one badly, even a day of fun and entertainment is sufficient!:D

dan tat's mum has injured herself, and I hope that she will recover soon, and dan tat will stay strong and positive during this period. it must be hard on her, having to cope with work and household. DAN TAT aka my beloved YUAN YUAN, remember even if the world should go down, you still have us for support (: A BIG HUG FOR YOU!

anyway, went johor a few days back with mum and sis. it's been ages since i stepped out of spore. haha...the pages in my passport are so clean la! sooo pathetic!:( though it's a short trip, but i still had some fun thou. visited a few shopping malls, and grabbed some stuff. I'm not a mall person, so I actually prefer to walk along the streets and look at the landscape of the country. due to unfamiliarity and safety reasons, I didnt manage to do that:( let's hope that I will get the chance to travel out of spore soon, this time maybe to HK or Taiwan!! :D

Dim Sum Family finally had an outing on mid-autumn eve:D haha..our first gathering, but it's a pity that chee cheong fan couldnt join us :( but nvr mind, we will meet up with him aft his POP to eat dim sum tgt!:D haha...

we went to CG, and walked around. it's free entrance this year, since there's no celebration held. we played with sparklers ( thanks Dan tat! ), and had quite alot of fun! haha.. spent abt an hr there, and headed to jp starbucks to chill aft that! haha.. talked about quite alot of stuff, and it's a really nice time spent with them! hahaa..dim sum fam shld meet up again soon!:D

jus finished watching fann's and chris' weddin live broadcast on channel 8, and i have only one word to describe the whole wedding ceremony: GLAMOROUS! (: i was smiling to myself throughout the whole show as I felt really happy for them, and oh man, they're really so sweet! haha..i especially like their maldive's photoshots, and fann's wedding dresses (: a touch of elegance coupled with a tinge of uniqueness, I sOOOO love them! hee...so makes me wanna try on a weddin gown now! (:

hmm...after watching the show, i so feel like gettin married now! lolx.. i can slowly dream on!!:X haha...but anyway, I hope that my wedding will be a posh and romantic one!!:D who will my husband be??? *wonders* have you all ever wonder who ur future partner will be? has he/her enter ur life already, or are they still somewhere out there, waiting for you?? I hope that I will have a loving and faithful husband, someone who understands me, and is willing to accept me for who i am. *pray hard*

i received many msges from friends asking if i am alright after they read my last blog entry. thanks to everyone who cares, and dun worry, i'm not depressed or anything. it's just a posting for my own reflection(: rouisanna is still that bubbly and cheerful gal :D but i'm really glad to have you guys around, supporting me in everything i do. i am really thankful (:

For some reasons, I always feel that I am blessed. I might not be the most fortunate girl in this world, but nonetheless, I still consider myself fortunate. Since young, I have been brought up well by my grandparents whom never failed to discipline me if I did something wrong, and it's due to their strict discipline that makes me who I am today. Without their guidance, I would have strayed to the dark side, and not be the good-natured gal whom everyone loves.

i will be talking about my grandparents in this entry. As i have been brought up by my paternal grandparents, my relationship with them is therefore closer as compared to my maternal ones. For 12 years ever since i was borned, I lived with them under the same roof, and slept with them in the same room. Ah ma would fetch me to and fro from school everyday, and all my friends and teachers knew her as a very friendly person. I was proud to have her as my granny, and my sociable character is partly due to her influence(: Ah gong also played his role well. He would take my sister and I to have roti prata every weekend at a nearby coffee shop, and he would stack up the chairs for us to sit, and tear the prata into pieces for us. He also taught me how to ride a bike too. Everynight, I would sleep next to them on the mattress laid out on the floor, and I would tuck myself to sleep by sucking on my finger, and playing with my ah ma's middle finger ( it's an old habit of mine:X ).

I was really a very mischievous kid back then. I did many terrible things that hurt quite a number of people, and one of them was ah ma. I will never forget that incident in which i upset her so much to the extent that she broke down. I don't think i will be able to erase this incident from my mind; it will always be part of my childhood memory. I was shocked back then, but leopards never changed its spots. Despite that incident, I was still quite playful and disobedient. Being caned and getting scolded were still daily occurrences for me.

Despite my inappropriate misbehavior, I was still doing quite well academically in school. I was in the top class, and getting the top few rankings in my primary school days. As i grew older, I gradually learnt to behave better, but getting chided was still common. Whenever I got back my results or report book, I would show them to my family, and my grandparents would always say the same thing " ji xu nu li" ( which means continue to work hard). They were not good at expressing their emotions, but i knew they were really happy that their granddaughter was doing well in school. For once, I felt that I was doing something to make my grandparents proud. Even till today, what motivates me to do my best in exams is partly due to the fact that I want them to feel proud that they have a capable grand-daughter.

Days passed, years flew, and soon I was in secondary school. My parents bought a new flat ( the current flat I'm stayin in), and as their daughter, I therefore had to move out from my grandparent's place and back to my own home. I was very reluctant to go back to my parents, and I cried so hard. I told ah ma I don't want to go home, and I wanted to stay at Bukit Batok with them. I knew they were upset that I had to go back too. It was really a low period for me. I had no choice; I had to go. After moving back to my parent's place, I would still visit my grandparents as frequently as possible. When the time came for me to go back again, I would tear secretly. I cried, not because I disliked my home. I cried, because I missed ah ma and ah gong.

even though i am 20 and grown-up now, they still see me as their small grandchild. I will still visit them occasionally, and ah ma will never fail to cook my favourite food for me whenever I go over to their place. They have both aged quite alot, and I will want to spend as much time with them as possible while they are still around so that I will not have any regrets when they leave. I used to cry whenever I thought of them not being around anymore, and sometimes, I still tear. I know that this day will come, and I cannot do anything to stop it from arriving. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. All I can do now is to cherish every single moment I could have with them, cause every moment spent with them will be a part of the memory of us together.

Whenever I visit the temple, I will pray for their good health, and that God will give me the chance to show my filial piety to them. Ah ma and ah gong went throught alot of hardship, and even though they are in their old age already, they are still not able to enjoy the last stage of their lives. I really hope that God will hear my prayer, and bless them with good health so that they can live longer to see me get a good job and probably have my own family. I believe that my happiness will be equivalent to theirs as well, as every grandparent will want their grandchildren to do well. I want them to leave in peace when the day should finally come.

What lies in the future is unpredictable; I can't promise they will live to see everything. But I know that I can do my part now to make them happy, and that their efforts in rearing me had not gone down the drain.

If not for their unrelentless love and patience, Rouisanna will not be who she is today.

met up with sebast on thurs, and we talked about alot of issues. one of the topics we discussed about was relationship matters. it made me think about my past relationship, and how foolish i was in handling certain issues. 4 months into singlehood, and I have to admit that I do feel lonely occasionally. for the past 3 years, my life revolved around someone else. After breaking up, I was on my own again, and I felt lost. My dependence on the other person had caused me to lose my reliance , and it was difficult to get back on my own feet again. No doubt I have good friends who are there for me during that tough period, but the empty feeling that overwhelmed me at times can be unbearable.

sometimes i feel that i'm still immatured in my thinking. I am not a love expert, and the chat with sebast made me realise that I could have handled certain issues more tactfully, and perhaps things might not end up this way. I know that there is no point in looking back at what could be done to improve the situation back then, but put it in a positive light, it will help me in my future relationship.

sebast mentioned that interpretation mattered alot in a relationship. what do I mean by interpretation? simply put, how one party perceives the actions and words of the other person. when you carry out an action or say some words which you might think serve a good purpose, it might not necessarily mean that the other party will see it the same way as you do. they might distort or misinterpret your intention, and this can potentially harm or strain the ties. I am more inclined towards the former. When i feel that I have been misunderstood, I will get irritated at why the other person doesnt see things the way I do. No matter how the other person explains, I will just hold on to the belief that what i do or say is not wrong, since I feel that my behavior has only good and no bad intention. come to think of it, I think i am an obstinate girl, and this is a big flaw of mine. I need to understand that despite my intention being good, the way i carry out these intentions might be inappropriate and thus mislead the other person, causing him to misinterpret my actions.

in addition, sebast mentioned something which i felt was really worth mentioning. i will like to ask, if we really like someone, do we expect changes from them? honestly speaking, if we really like or love someone, we should love the person for the way he/she is. when we ask someone to change their flaws, are we really loving the person for whom he/she is, or are we moulding the person into someone whom we love? I admit that I did ask him to change for the sake of his own good, but am i just giving myself an excuse to make him my "ideal guy"?

he said that i was a good girlfriend, but now, I feel that I had been a terrible one. perhaps from the start, the person who need to change is actually myself. I thought that he was immatured and childish at times, but am i not too? i said that i need to give in to him, but didnt he try to accomodate me too? he hurt me at times, but didn't i hurt him as well? I was too demanding.

I am not regretting my choice. I am just reflecting on my mistakes. sometimes, people really need to learn things through the hard ways. I just hope that I will not repeat these mistakes again.

DAMN! there's something wrong with my blogger!! arghhh..cant post e pictures taken with my NAUGHTY Gs of GAYLAND!! nvm, i shall jus blog first, and leave e photos till a later time when blogger's workin properly :X

anyway, i finally met up with my gaylanders on last sat!!((: haha..times spent with them were always filled with laods of laughter, and lame jokes! i sort of had a malay heritage educational tour, something like NE, haa..all thanks to my malay friends! :D it was really an eye-opener for me, and i tried stuff which i had never done before. for instance, breakin fast and touring e pasar malam at geyland serai! and i swear it was freaking crowded!! i was so shocked to see the pasar malams swarmed with so many ppl, and the traffic was really heavy! haha.. we walked from one pasar malam, to another, and there were really loads of stuff sold there! their malay costumes are really nice, and they were not cheap. one set can cost abt hundred bucks!! haha..thank god we dun haf to wear qipao during CNY! i will faint big time!!*

then sun went to meet vic and his cg at tampineS to haf lunch, and outing to MINDS cafe at Tampines Safra!(: first time to tampines 1:X e ppl residin in tampines are so fortunate can, they haf 3 shopping malls situated just next to each other!(: *envy* anyway, time really flew at MINDs, had so much fun playin TABOO, with each group tryin to make life difficult for e other group so that we could win e game !! muhahaha... e new version of TABOO is seriously quite cool, u can draw, and even use e cute purple puppet to act out e words!! e acting part was e hardest la, but it was e funniest too! u guys shld play it someday yeah(:

hello everyone! (: it's sat nite, and i'm home blogging! din went out cox i'm feeling quite tired, and i gonna clear some work. hope everyone's havin fun somewhere out there now yeah!!(: sat nite fever, woohoo!

went to visit my grandma yest at the hosp since she had a leg op last week. stupid H1N1 made thing so troublesome for visitors like us. they only allowed 2 visitors per patient, and since there were 3 of us (me, sis and mummy), we need to take turns to enter the ward. haha...but mummy very cheeky, she sneaked in when the staff wasnt lookin! ((: glaad that my grandma is recovering well, and I hope she will remain healthy (=

before that, we went to orchard! and i hereby declare that I AM NO LONGER A MOUNTAIN TURTLE COX I STEPPED INTO ION ORCHARD FINALLY!! haha..din really stayed for long, but manage to catch a glimpse of some of the shops. quite like e stuff sold at newlook!!(: and i recommend a bakery called Provenance! they sell SUPER nice chocolote and kaya croissant..it's not expensive too! do try it next time if u happen to pass by there! definitely worth it..e bread is so soft. i personally prefer e kaya flavour, and i'm gonna try the cream one next time!

went to meet vic and his CG at dhoby ghaut to haf dinner. dine at Justacia located in dhoby ghaut exchange. food's nice and price is reasonable! had spicy chicken set with free flow drink and ice cream @ $7!! cheap rite.. nice place for gathering yeah :D aft e dinner, went to PS GV for movie. watched UP!! recommended :D its a heart-warming cartoon. i had a good laugh, and the movie actually conveyed certain moral issues which i thought was really true.

people tend to hold onto something/someone who no longer are present, and fail to see that there are actually things/people out there in the world who deserve our attention more. the past lingers and it prevents people from moving on and appreciating what's ahead of them. it's hard to let go of the past, especially when they meant so much to one. it's alright to think of the past, remembering the happy and sad memories, but we should not let these memories hinder us from seeking our happiness.

this is perhaps the reason why i always tell myself:

dont cry becox it's over, smile because it happens.

to people out there who are still recovering, the past might be gone, but the future have not. hold onto it, before it is gone too.

went for mich and vic's farewell celebration at clementi woods sakura on mon!(: haha, i was gobbling up e food! stomach was growling cox i was really hungry, and tempted by the assumptous meal! there's sushi, raw salmon, DIM SUM (woohooo..e mention of dim sum makes me hungry now :X ), and the nice dessert! * drooling.*

aft the meal, we decided to walk to west coast park since it's quite near. hmm..wcp is really a nice place, be it at night or during day time (: haha..thanks to vic's camera and tripod stand, we took quite a number of photos!!:D hee..photo-taking session is our fav past-time can! really had a great time with the clique!

went nite cycling yest!(: hmm..it's a new experience for me,not becox it's NITe cycling, but becox we cycled along e road!:) nvr cycyled along e road before yeah. it's dangerous cox of the traffic, but well, it was adventurous! Thanks Victor for invitin me to join ur CG for the trip, really enjoyed((:

we had dinner at some place at marine parade, and headed back to ECp ard 11 plus. it was really NOT nice tryin to catch the last bus/train. haha..ran from ecp to e bus stop and took 197, hoping to get back to bedok interchange and maybe get onto the last train back home, but realised we boarded the bus heading towards JE interchange instead :( zzzzz.... it was already 11.30 then, and we doubted there would still be train service, so in the end, we jus took the bus back to JE, and took a taxi home from there! haha..i couldnt believe that travelling from je to bukit batok and back to jw would cost me $17 bucks!:X argghh..sickenin midnite charge costs $5 odd... tat's y i am never a fan of cab-riding. and the unlucky thing is, if i take a cab, it will always be during midnite!:(

weekend's here again!:X loads of catchin up to do..so i guess i will be spending my weekends with my "beloved" books and readings !!! zzzzz... i mus learn to love them..must self-psycho!! haha..and i NEED to exercise! i dunno why, but i feel that i'm gettin fatter even thou i exercise and run at least 3 times a week!! hmmm...demoralizing!:(

MLTR MLTR MLTR!!! hmm..i'm seriously contemplating if i wanna spend 90 bucks to go for MLTR's Eternity LIVE tour in Singapore :X i love their oldies...really super nice ((: but this tour is to promote their new album, and honestly speaking, i haven even listen to it yet, so i'm still in the midst of deciding if i wanna go.. if they're goin to perform their popular oldies such as "paint my love" ," that's why you go away", " 25 mins" , etc, i will definitely not hesitate and say YES!!(: i'm sure their live performance for all these songs will be SUPERB!!!

very true.

friendship and love. two very similar yet different entities. both are dear to us. both brings smiles and tears.

BUT

one is lasting, the other is not. if love is lasting, then there will not be such a word termed " heart-breaking".

if people fall in love knowing they might fall out of love, then why do they let themselves sink into the love well in the first place?

I am one such fool. perhaps because foolish people like me are too trusting, always believing in the phrase " you never know what is at the end of the road if you never dare to try".

therefore, despite knowing we might end up getting bruised, we still go ahead. foolish aren't we?

but you cant deny we are courageous to fight for what we want.

I cant deny that I still miss you at times, but it's time for us to move on and carry on with our lifes. having you around for the past three years was really a blessing, and you are still someone i truly care for deeply, just that it's no longer from your gf's perspective. it's been ages since i have updated my blog. one sem has passed, and year 1's gone in a blink of an eye. this sem has been a fruitful one, as usual, making new friends and spending time with my kakkies ethen, chun fong and simon!:) many things happened too, and i experienced something which i haven been experienced for the past years. good times spent, but remained at original points. i'm glad it turned out this way, and thou things were not e same anymore, there were still nice memories (:

started internship 5 days after exams at SWCDC. i was e only NUS student allocated there, and there were 8 others interns, mostly from NTU. office hours were kinda boring, but their presence brightened up my day! (: really glad to noe each and everyone of them. i think that i am really blessed. thank god for everything u have given me :D

it's really hell load to wear office wear!! i haf used up one box of plaster, and heels are really killing me :D ppl who noe me well shld noe that heels are seldom seen on my feet, and i admit that i cant really walk well in those torturing footwear. that's y i felt really happy today as fri's a dress-down day! super comfy clad in jeans and flats :D office work's getting busier, but i'm enjoyin myself, and learning new stuff everyday! suddenly i feel like i'm a workin adult instead of a student. well, i guess there's good and bad in being a student/working adult :X

haven been exercising for this two weeks, gonna go gym tml to shed off those ugly fats!! goin to make myself shed off at much calories as possible :D karaoke this weekend with jav! very long never sing le..and i'm goin to try out ice skating soon!! and my 5 th blood donation! anyone wanna join me to go donate blood??:D

2 more weeks to go before sch's gonna start again.. haven been doing much durin this hols, other than slacking at home and feeding myself with loads of food and endless online dramas :) haha..i guess it's really a good break for me, really can wake up daily without thinkin of sch work..

2008's gonna come to an end, and 2009's gonna come in soon. neutral feelins i guess. 2008, or 2009, i guess my life's gonna stay e same, which can be a good and bad thing. days fly pass, weeks go by, and soon it will be another year. come to think of it, i feel that the most memorable stuff i did this year is to do relief teachin at jjc :) it was really an eye-opener, and it was a wonderful experience indeed. i learnt many things, and got to know many "students friends", all of whom i will always remember for being such dear ones. though i mite not become a teacher in e future, but having once gone through the life as a teacher, i'm really grateful :D

2009, i haf many resolutions, and wishes. i'm really fortunate, for all thee years, my top 3 wishes have always been fulfilled, and i haf faith that it will always be. a good family, a good relationship, and a good me, i'm satisfied :D in a day's time, we shall all welcome a brand new year.. leave behind e unhappiness of 2008, and look ahead to receive the challenges of 2009 :) everything will always be better than the previous :D

haha..i'm back! :) my first sem in NUS finally came to an end.. finally i have some time for myself and take a good break!

it's a long yet short semester.. what a paradox! :) long in e sense that there's endless stuff to clear durin e term, but short in another way as i was so caught up with work that time seemed to fly past within e 3 months! but whatever it is, i have survived my first sem ! :D

so now's e time for gatherins! :) will be organizin a few for different cliques, so cant wait to meet up with my peers! hee... oh ya, i went to bloodbank to donate blood yesterdae! :D no reason why, just felt like donatin, so i just went. perhaps see it as a thanksgivin gift from me to the society? just wan to do somethin for the people.

wow, it's been almost a month since i have blogged! i have been busy with school work lately, so there's not much time for blogging. since next week is the recess week, i can spare some time to do some updating now :)

well, though sch's quite busy, i guess i am enjoyin myself. haha.. it's really independent learnin, unlike the spoon-feeding which we were so used to back in jc then. self-discipline is really playin a crucial role in this aspect, and i do think that i am pretty good in it??? haha... "cross my fingers"!

but anyway, i will continue to work hard, and i really hope that my efforts will pay off!! :)

oh ya, i cut my hair short last week!! haha... yes, as in short, not even shoulder length! :) haha.. shall post a pic with my new haircut soon if i had the chance to take one! maybe tml since i am goin karaoke with darlin tml!! haha... gonna enjoy myself before embarkin on a study week :)

i have finally ended my job as an econs relief teacher in jjc on monday. wonderful time spent during the 6 months stay in jj and i hope i can go back there durin my term break to reminiscence the experience of an econs relief teacher :D

i have been going to nus to attend orientation talks for these past few days, and it was a good start. haha.. gonna bid for my modules tml, and i pray hard that everything will go well, and i will be allocated the 5 modules which i want to study in my first sem.

myriad of feelings. anticipation with a tinge of anxiety. wonder how uni life will be, and whether i will be able to cope. haha.. I'm SURE u can do it, rouisanna!! :)

had a busy week! i did relief teaching for ms lim's tutorial this week as she had a bad sore throat due to bacterial infection, hence i took over her 8 classes so that she can recover well and conduct the lecture on fri :D

come to think of it, i had taught all the J1 H1 econs classes :) haha.. it's quite a good experience as i manage to interact with different classes.

it's the end of june holidays today. sch will be starting again tml, which means i'm back to work again:) it's confirmed that i will not be taking any class, but i will be helping out in j1 and j2 marking since there are plenty of tests awaiting the kids once term 3 starts.

my classes are taken over by 2 teachers :) i will not reveal who the teachers are over here, they shall know during lecture tml. i will miss the tutorials sessions with the four classes!

uni life is also starting pretty soon. kinda nervous and excited since it's a brand new kind of experience. i need to become more independent and decisive in making decisions, especially when NUS has a system in which we have to bid and ballot for the lectures and tutorials respectively.

din go anywhere today. stayed at home and was glued to the com screen cox i was watching dramas for the whole afternoon. haha.. thank god i'm goin to work soon, so it kinda helps to kick my addiction. haha.. a good webby to watch korean, japan and taiwan dramas and movies will be mysoju.com. jav shld thank e website as it kept me occupied, otherwise i will feel so bored.

WAH! i'm back! haha... it's not as if i went anywhere, but it's been a while since i blogged.

anyway, i have been slacking around for the past one week. basically my life has revolved around waking up at 8-9 plus, switching on e com, and staring at the screen for the whole day, and back to sleep again! totally like a pig :( i'm growing fatter, but i still lack the motivation to go for a run. haha..

i have been a drama addict for these few days. haha.. i had completed the legend ( oh my.. bae yong joon so shuai! ), as well as the new heart ( Ji sung so cute! ). haha.. both dramas were worth watching though, not just because the casts were awesome, but the plots were great as well!

i miss sch actually! :X oh ya, i saw my four cuties from S11 in the lib today! haha.. they were so hardworkin la,getting e public to help them do surveys for their pw. thumbs up! :)

read some of my friends' blogs ( shall not call them students anymore ), and realised that many were ranting about pw stuff! well, i guess pw is really a challenge, and i honestly admit that it's not one of my fav sub too. but unfortunately, it goes towards e A lvls marks, so well, no matter how we dislike it, we still haf to get it done! so cheer up folks, dun let pw defeat us! we shall win the war this time!!! haha.. all the way guys! :D it's goin to end soon....

haha..wonder if it's good or bad news to the students that ms wong is back! lolx. however, there might be some reshuffling of classes, and i might not get back my classes :(

we shall see when the term starts. my goal is to help those students who have passed to score better for their market failure essay test ( term 3 week 2 ) and common test which takes up 25% in term 3 week 3. for those who have failed in term 2, i will wan to help them to pass as high as possiblE!

initially decided to went to ecp to cycle as mentioned in the previous post, but due to the scorching hot weather, we decided to give it a miss, and head towards ZOO!! haha...it has been eons since i stepped foot into the zoo, and i was so excited about the trip!

it reminded me of my pri sch years in which there were educational excursions to these tourist places, and everytime, my friends and i would bring many tidbits and sweets to munch on during the travelling journey :) i guessed my last visit to the zoo was about 8 years back?

haix, i was quite pissed with a class today. i informed them to do the essay questions on fri, but only a few did their work. same for presentation, they should know that they were supposed to present today, but still they didnt bother. i can tolerate weak students, but i cant do the same for students who are indifferent. i dun mind teaching the weaker students as i know they are willing to learn, but there are a minority who refused to care.

it's already end of Term 2, and promos are coming really soon. before that, they will be having common test when the term 3 starts! i really have no idea what can i do to make them put in more efforts? i dun wish to see them feeling upset and start to regret when they have to be retained. if they really dun buck up durin e june holidays, they are really goin to head towards that direction...

i planned to end my last lesson with them happily, but...

i am really disappointed.

if they dun even bother, there's nth i can do about it.

4 days to do a 25 mins essay. is this very difficult to achieve?

2 weeks to do a presentation. is this very difficult to achieve as well?

i'm sorry if this entry is hurting to anyone, esp to students in the class.

pls understand, ms wong is already goin to leave, and u guys are still not serious abt the work. e disappointment is far more stronger than seeing u all fail ur case study test.

initially i prepared some stuff for them, but i decided not to distribute in the end.

i am really depressed.

i hope the new teacher can change their learning attitude before it's too late .

had lessons with S13 todae :D initially was quite strict and stern with them, cause i need to do something about their learning attitudes. some are still not serious and are easily distracted. my efforts paid off when all turned silent and listened. i did not wan to scold them cox i never believe in scolding. they are 17 yr old kids, so i need to show them some respect. reprimanding will be too humiliating for them, thus i talked sense to them instead. hopefully, they will change their mindset after this.

i seldom have a stern expression on my face, so it means i am REALLY concerned over that issue.

they are good students, so i did not feel comfortable when i had to do that. i must believe in them that they can do well, and i hope that my faith will not be mistrusted .

tut and extra lesson with them were pretty fun today :) i couldnt stop laughing once i started. thanks to e kids, and myself, i dragged the lesson till around 6.20pm when it was supposed to end at 6 :X

assigned hw for all my classes to complete durin the long weekend since it is a good practice for them to write an essay before sitting for their test next week! they better do it, otherwise, i will deduct marks :) no choice, sometimes i need to be firm, otherwise the students will have the thinking that ms wong's hw is not impt!!

this week is my second last lesson with them. time really flies. i was talking to my kids from another class today before S13 make-up lesson, and they told me that they were quite depressed over some issues. havin many relief teachers for the different subjects is quite disruptive to the students, and i really pray hard that they will not have another econs relief teacher when the new term begins.

i wish i can stay, but i need to go...

sebastian asked me not to feel sad. fengru and jing hui said they will see me in nus in 2 years' time. though it's really a short time span, but the bonds have been built, and now, i have to tear it apart. at this moment, the feeling of sadness is not that overwhelming yet, as i know that i am goin to see them again next week. but when next week comes, i guess e emotion will rush in, and i need to brace myself to overcome it.

the time is always hardest when we need to say goodbye.

i will miss you guys, and thank you for all the laughter and joy you have brought to my life. always remember that nothing is difficult, so long you believe in yourself. prove the people who despised you wrong, and show them what you are capable of accomplishing! :) 08S11, 08S13, 08S20 and 08S21, as well as those who are taught by me before, A BIG THANK YOU!!!! rouisanna will not forget u, and hope that u will not forget this friend of yours too :D

it's supposed to be a long day today, but i cancelled two make-up lessons, so the workload was pretty manageable :) S21 and S13 make-up lessons were called off due to the respective classes havin maths lect and i had to attend the students' council investiture in the afternoon. so most probably i need to do e make-up tml after their pw lect for S13 :) h aha..i hope that the students will not slaughter me for doing that since it is from 5-6pm!!

had lesson with S20 today at AVA. showed them the raffles ghost story thing, but they had no reaction o.O hmmm...maybe not scary enuf? haha.. but the class was funny today, esp with xihong, shawn and dixon. haa..i guess they are the jokers of the class... i was quite rush in going thru e application of PED and PES today, cox i was quite pressed for time. hopefully, they understand e topic better, and can apply it in their tests next week.

i realized what ms lim said was pretty true. we cant possibly reach out to everyone. we can only lend a helping hand to those who approach us. we are not superhero who can see through the students' minds and pin-point their doubts. unless the students show us the way, it will be tough to comprehend what has gone wrong. BUT i will still take the first move no matter what, whether the students accept it will have to depend on the individuals :) i shall give my best shots in the remaining time i have....

sports meet this fri!! haha..meetin with my jc classmates and returnin back to jj :X i miss my jc days.. i really really miss the moments when i was still a student. whenever i saw the kids having fun, i wished to be like them.. though there are many tests, but it's an enjoyable journey.

MOE is efficient!! i went for the interview yesterday, and they sent me the results through sms this mornin :) really fast! haha..i was still expecting to wait for about 1-2 weeks before i got any reply. and guess wat, i am being offered the MOE Teaching Award ! still waitin for NUS scholarship unit since it has no bond attached :)

had tutorial and make-up lesson with S11 today! they are a bunch of funny and lovable kids :D just that they got distracted easily, and somehow this is the only class that i have difficulty in maintaining class order :( other than that, i love to have lessons with them. some are diligent, some are playful but smart, while others require more help. nonetheless, it's an awesome class, but too bad, next week will most probably be my last week. gonna miss their cheerfulness and laughter !!

tml will be a busy day for me :D two tutorials and 3 make-up lessons!!! haha..i will survive through this week!

sports day this coming fri. hopefully i dun have to do that. i pray hard that the PE department has forgotten about it!! haha....

went for the MOE interview today. haha.. i did not suffer from a panic attack, thank god. i was quite calm actually, and the panel of interviewers were quite amiable, therefore it actually helped to sooth my emotions. hopefully it turned out well :) we shall wait for the application results in the meantime...

anyway, if you have been keeping up with the news, u would have known that Myanmar is having a "perfect storm " at this moment. Coupled with the repercussions of the cyclone, as well as the reluctance of the junta to facilitate greater aid to the needy in the inaccessible areas , the Burmese are really facing adversities now. let's pray for their well-wishes, and hope that life for them will return to normal soon.

jj talentime 2008 last nite! :)

it was my third consecutive year attendin this event, and i think i am goin to do that again next year. haa.. it was a spectacular nite indeed, seeing jjcians gathering together and supporting their peers who were performing. haha..the audience was spontaneous and funny, especially the rubgy boys who added in humour admidst the show. the performances were entertaining and i enjoyed jowell's , CRANK's and the basket's performances the most! :X they were breath-taking!! i shall post the videos in my next entry cox my camera died on me. haf to charge it first (:

saw some of my students, and they went " wooooooo " when they saw me with jav. haha..kinda embarassing initially, but got used to it after that! haha.. it was quite funny though, i was walking, and out of nowhere, students were like " hello ms wong " , and i could swear that i don't even know who they were. jav was like askin me how come i dont even recognise my own students, and i told him, they were not my kids :X haha.. but guessed they were being friendly and polite!

overall, it was a good evening spent! :) and congrats to dionne and wanting... u guys were awesome! haha...

the stress is building up. i am quite troubled over certain matters. the most worrisome thing will be how to complete the tutorial and presentation within the short time span of 2 weeks. i'm really craving for more time!!! i dun wish to call for extra lessons as it is very exhausting for the students, seeing most of them end school pretty late. however, i haf e urge to do so as i NEED to cover the relevant content that will be tested in week 10! i really hope the students will understand, and cooperate with me in this matter. i felt guilty in having extra lessons as i know it's draining for the students, but look on the bright side, holiday is in two weeks' time!!! :) so let's endure for a little while longer, and all of us can get our well-deserved break.

i came home at 7.30 today. had lessons with my J2 boys :) they are a bunch of funny and nice ppl! they are havin their mid-year test for econs next thurs, all e best to them! :) i hope they understood what i was teaching today, cox i didnt really know what i was talking. felt really exhausted today :(

i realised that some of my kids found my blog. haha... i do know a few of them who read my blog, so if u r one of them, do tag that u are here. haha..i got a shock when some students come up to me and suddenly tell me " ms wong, i read ur blog!! ". err....

two more weeks to holidays !!! haha.. :) and :( . no source of income, and no more tut with students. i enjoy teaching, and hopefully, i didnt bore them to death. in e beginning, it's quite difficult to make econs lesson interesting cause we need to build their foundation well. not even to mention now when i'm pressed for time to complete so many stuff during classes. sometimes, i just wish that i can have some time to chat with my students in class. build rapport :D

javier finally blogged after one year!!! so unusual, wonder how come he suddenly has the desire to blog?
