we had some dance in e morning and it turned out to be quite screwed. lolx. haha.. it's quite expected since not many ppl turned up for the practices ( i'm one of them!) haha.. the whole j2 cohort was quite pathetic as over half of the students were absent. i'm an obedient student, so no matter how useless it is, i will still turn up! muhaha....

anyway, collected my class photos. the price was rather steep, as one 3R costs S1.50. the usual price should be about $0.40 cents?? well, since it is a memoir of the class, i still buy it , so here u go...

yummy prawn noodle! it was soooooo delicious!

haha.. we went to tiong bahru hawker centre to have dinner on friday and we ate the famous prawn noodle sold there. thumbs up for the food cox it really tasted very nice and the prawns were so sweet and fresh. haha..there's the chewy feeling when u bite the prawns :X

haha..that's y i finished the whole bowl!

after the prawn noodle, we had some zui kueh :D

it was a pity that we were unable to have a taste of many other food sold there cox our stomachs were bloated after having our dinner. do visit the hawker centre if u wan to satisfy ur food craze! :D hmm, it's situated above tiong bahru market, and u dun have to be worried about the cleanliness as it was renovated lately.

nice environment with cheap and tasty food, thumbs up!

anyway, i think the area is rather old as the designs of the houses can no longer be seen in Singapore with the exception of that place. the interior is rather spacious, perhaps bigger than the new 4-rm flats now. these houses are mainly occupied by the elderly. though it is an old housing estate, it is rather clean and peaceful. singapore has a lack of this form of housing estate.

see what i mean? jus next to it is a new condominium which i presume have approximately 40 storeys?? yeaps, houses are growing vertically and shrinking horizontally. old housing estates replaced by these luxurious kind of residences. that is the sign of widening income gap, with the poors living in low-storey and unglam kind of houses and the richs immersing in luxury. maybe u can try to imagine how singapore will look like 10 years down the road?

haha.. as usual, outings were remembered by photos.

mr fav person :D

A07 babes went for the WEstzone Superstar on last Friday at Sp COnvention Centre. well, the overall performances by the various contestants were worth applauding, but we thot that the organiser could perhaps improve on the voting system. i thought that the voting system this year was rather biased and unfair as whoever had the greatest number of voters will win the competition. sorry for my bluntness but i do have to admit that the Sp girl who sang Shunzi's song should win the contest as she REALLY sings better:X

nonetheless, though we were quite disappointed with the results, we had fun taking photos since everyone was dressed up prettily for the event :D haha...

881 ah yeo ah yeo...881 ah yeo ah yeo!

i finally caught the movie 881 today and it was NOt a disappointment. i thought it was a pretty good show indeed. from the advertisements i saw on the tv and posters, i have been wanting to catch this show as i have a thing for GETAI ( chinese 7th month concert). some might think that it's a low class thing, but i'm sue you will change ur opinion after watching it.

the songs really brought back lots of memories when i used to visit getai, especially in LOyang da po gong temple. the movie does not only reveals the unique characteristic of getai, but also conveys certain messages which are meaningful. it possesses both humour and sadness.

the first impression will mislead you into thinking that 881 is a movie for ahmas and certainly looks a little ohbiang. But in actual fact, it is certainly the opposite. yes, it has some funny scenes and all the familiar usual local jokes.try overlooking the funny scenes and the colourful scenes about geitai and you will realise how much a simple movie like this can actually teach you so many great lessons.

hokkien language is been used extensively in the show, and because it is in hokkien, it exhibits the true scenes you will see at getai. thumbs up :) it makes me want to catch a getai during the upcoming 7th month which commences on next monday.

on the whole, i highly recommend u to view this with ur friends and family. it's really worth the money. it makes me laugh until i want to roll on the floor, and ironically, makes me cry like no one business. dun be afraid that u r the only one weeping as there are many others who share the same emotion, and that includes guys.

do go catch it and support this local movie! :D

it was an enjoyable day yesterday as i got to meet up with my buddies from sec sch. it was ages ago since we went out together, so the meet-up was really a good one. we went to suntec and had a good and $$$ meal at Shi Tong Tian. haha.. though the price was rather steep ( due to the 13 bucks Tax charges ) , nevertheless, it was worthwhile.

i miss those days back in sec sch where my clique used to hang out together. looking back, we have grown up and are stepping into the next phase of life. without the colours they painted in my sec sch life, it will be black and white. so i'm really fortunate to have them as friends :X

here are the pictures:
